This guidance explains why we need to ask you for your consent for any photographs of your child being used by Avon Athletic Football Club. After reading this, please can you provide consent via the electronic form.

We live in an age in which digital technology has vastly increased the use of photography. There has been publicity surrounding the risk of a child or young person being identified by a photograph in the local press or via social media. 

Even though we accept this risk exists, at Avon Athletic we are taking steps to minimise this risk. We want to ensure that the risk of a child being identified by a stranger is small and that reasonable steps are in place regarding the appropriateness of the photography/ videoing. Furthermore, we will endeavour to keep the full name and contact details of the children at our club private. Finally, we will ensure only images of children who are suitably dressed will be used to avoid them being used inappropriately. 

By signing this consent form (signature in the box below), you will be giving permission to Avon  Athletic to use photographs and videos of your child involved in football activities. These images may be used In any of the following ways:

• Club legends photo shoot
• Photo displays within the club
• Social media (Instagram and Facebook)

If you are unwilling to provide consent, but would like your child to be included in some of the activities mentioned above, please contact the Club Welfare Officers Suzanne Keating or Chris Keating to discuss.
